• Government has caught supposed criminals and put them into what appears to be a high security prison 
• Prisoners seem to possess unique abilities and skills
• Government intends to use the prisoners by assembling a task force to do their 'dirty work' so that they can deny any relevance to them if they are caught 
• Juxtaposition of angelic music with fight scenes creates a dystopian feel
• Some romance is shown, establishing a connection with the characters
• Their plans all go wrong as it appears they turn against each other
