The Package

preliminary group work 



This is our first group work we have done as a class in media. "The Package" is a short film about an unknown object arriving into the school and something happening to it. i really enjoyed making this piece with my group, we all collaboratively worked together to achieve the best shots and plot ideas for the film. in future we could work on our primary scene in the 'red lab' as i felt as if the angle wasn't centred and so was not as visually beneficial. reflecting on our filming, next time we will take more shots of each scene so that when we reach editing we will have more to work from and the overall piece will not feel as jumpy.
From our work, the most effective shots were those that gave the audience a different angle on the situation, such as panning up in the lift and the tracking shot of the package being carried down the hallway.
